In any area of application heat-insulation constructions must provide:
- decrease of heat losses by manufacturing equipment, pipelines, frame filling of buildings and premises;
- safe temperature for people on the surface of manufacturing equipment and pipelines;
- limitation of carbonic acid (СО2), sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) ejections into the atmosphere by boiler-houses and thermoelectric power stations;
- reduction of operational expenditures;
- reduction of expenditures for the repair through increase of strength, reliability and durability of heat-insulation constructions;
- improvement of living conditions through more pleasant and healthy climate with uniform temperature inside of a building;
- increase of usable area through decrease of frame filling thickness;
- improvement of fire safety conditions.
It is determined that using basalt heat-insulation you can save 1 ton of equivalent fuel.
